Wheeling, W.Va. (AP) -- Voters will have three chances to watch the West Virginia 1st Congressional District candidates go head to head in October.
Spokesmen say Republican David McKinley and Democrat Michael Oliverio have agreed to three debates.
The first, sponsored by the AARP, is set for Oct. 19 at Parkersburg's Smoot Theater.
The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register are sponsoring an Oct. 20 debate at West Virginia Northern Community College in Wheeling, and the Dominion Post hosts the pair Oct. 28 at South Middle School in Morgantown.
All the debates begin at 7 p.m. Both candidates say they're looking forward to them.
Election day is Nov. 2.
The 1st District seat was held for 28 years by Democrat Alan Mollohan, who lost the May primary to Oliverio.
