Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- A Jackson County dentist has been named as state dental director.
The Department of Health and Human Resources announced Dr. Jason Roush's appointment Tuesday in a news release.
Roush currently is employed by Wirt County Health Services Association, Inc. and is on staff at Willows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He also is a clinical assistant professor in the West Virginia University School of Dentistry's Department of Dental Practices and Rural Health.
As state dental director, Roush will oversee the DHHR's oral health program.
