The Wood County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Nicholas Dye was the driver killed in Friday morning's accident in Waverly.
A Williamstown man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Waverly.
Emerson Avenue was closed just after 3:00 am Friday when a vehicle rolled over onto its top.
Waverly Fire Chief Terry Hefner says a man was driving a green pick-up truck northbound when he veered off the road and flipped in to the south bound lane.
"It appears he went off the road quite a ways, south of us is where he ended up," says Fire Chief Hefner.
The 25-year-old driver was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where he was pronounced dead, but his name is not being released at this time.
The Wood County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
