The campaign trail made its way to Parkersburg again Thursday night.
State, local and national candidates responded to questions on a number of issues during a forum at Parkersburg Christian School.
Included along with the questions about jobs, the economy and taxation were a number of moral issues. One is the effects of the growing number of video lottery establishments in Wood County.
With people out of work and these video lottery places, the domestic battery cases have risen in the past four months," says Joyce Purkey, current Wood County magistrate who is running for re-election. "There was a week we had 17 domestic batteries in five days."
The Parkersburg Christian School sponsored Thursday night's forum.
