A local hero returned home for Sunday’s air expo, and he knows a little about flying!

Major Robert Sweet flew in Saturday night to perform in Sunday’s expo.

He was shot down during the Gulf War back in 1991 and held prisoner of war for 19 days.

We asked him his thoughts about going back to war with Iraq.

“We’re standing by waiting for the President to give his order, one way or another were ready to go, our military is very well capable,” says Sweet.

Major Sweet says he's very happy to be home.
