"We're hunting down voters," was Terry Anderson's greeting to a Marietta resident.
"Well, you've got my vote," the homeowner responded.
The state Senate candidate, Terry Anderson, was accompanied by Congressman Ted Strickland campaigning door-to-door. It's part of a tour Anderson plans of the entire 20th Senate District between now and Election Day.
At a news conference, Anderson reminded supporters why he decided to run for office.
"I have talked from the beginning of this campaign about how we can bring jobs to the area," Anderson said, "how we can fix our education system, how we can fix our health care system."
Strickland expressed his support for fellow Democrat Anderson, who has been involved in recent weeks in an increasing negative campaign with Republican Joy Padgitt.
