On Plum Street in Parkersburg Sunday night gallons of water poured into the streets.
Members of the Parkersburg Fire Department say a main water line broke causing the street to flood.
It happened around 7:30 p.m. in front of Jefferson Elementary School.
The 1100 block of Plum Street was closed to traffic. Officials say they don't know exactly what caused the break.
