Students from 10 different High Schools took part in a business symposium at the Parkersburg Country Club Wednesday.
This is the 30th year for the event, which is hosted by the Parkersburg Chamber of Commerce.
The group got a lesson in business ethics, communication skills, and much more from business leaders within the community.
"The purpose of the business symposium is to introduce the students to the business community so that they can get a good idea of how the business sector works, and it also gives them ideas on careers that they might not have otherwise thought of," says Mary Barnette with Community Bank.
Businesses involved in Wednesday's event included WTAP, GE, Dupont, Community Bank and more.
