In just its second year the annual River City Comic Con already has a big following.
Organizers say attendance doubled this year. They have a lot to offer comic book fans.
Not just a big collection of comics, but also question panels and movie screenings. With the resurgence of comic book characters on screen these days...it's created a new generation of comic fans.
"Three generations back probably reading the same heroes. Parents sharing them with their kids. You know the movies are making billions of dollars at the box office. So you know these stories are American mythology. They've never gotten old and they're as strong today as they were in the '40s," says event organizer Jordan Lowe.
Comic con features many local artists and film makers. Asylum Comics in Marietta sponsors the event.
