If you were online trying to find information on the city of Parkersburg over the weekend, it could may have been difficult because the city' s website was wiped out!
Mayor Bob Newell says Network Associates, the company who hosts the city website was trying to switch servers internally.
When that happened they lost a lot of information.
They have been able to get some of it back.
Mayor Newell says it's an important website.
"We know that people from the outside developers, companies looking to relocate, families looking to relocate, they'll click on the Parkersburg website and get information," says Newell.
Mayor Newell says, right now the city's webmaster is working on the new website, it should be up and running by next week.
