31 states, 36 Kiwanis meetings and 8,000 miles; one man makes it his mission to save innocent babies from a deadly disease.
Robert Burlison is riding his motorcycle cross-country to raise money and awareness for KURE2013 (Kiwanis Unity Ride to Eliminate), a project that saves and protects women and their babies from maternal and neonatal tetanus.
He plans to attend a Kiwanis meeting in all 50 states and made a stop in Parkersburg on Tuesday.
Kiwanis of La Cañada, California organized the historic ride for Burlison, a member of their club.
They've reached $35 million so far and are still raising money.
