Getting and staying healthy can be expensive. But this weekend - the community health fair will make it easier - and cheaper - than ever.
Bobbi Ward, administrative director of St. Joe's Hospital lab and Ambulatory Infusion Center says the health fair is a vital service for the community.
It's also the opportunity to get several health screens, including free EKGs.
“And especially, I’m involved with the low cost blood screenings that we're doing that provides people for $20, you can get lab work that would be hundreds otherwise,” Ward says.
There will be 70 different vendors and physicians there to give advice, as well as a cooking demonstration -- all revolving around a healthy lifestyle and wellness.
If you want to go, it's August 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the main floor of St. Joes.
