It's a whale of a sale on dry land.
The Junior League of Parkersburg held their 25th annual Whale of a Sale event at the City Park pavilion Saturday morning.
People came out to the organization's largest fundraiser buying clothes, toys and furniture.
The items at the yard sale are donated by area businesses.
It's a way for the junior league to stay active and bring the community together.
"Well, we're really happy that not only we can kind of purge our homes and get rid of some things here but also re-donate it, recycle, reuse and everything is priced very reasonably, so everybody's getting a great deal," says Junior League of Parkersburg President, Savannah Jeffers.
A whale of a sale is one the area's largest annual yard sales.
All proceeds will go to the junior league to help fund the new playground being built at City Park.
