A Mineral Wells woman realized that her pet iguana Iggy was missing after she saw the hole in her screen window. Diane Gherke tried unsuccessfully to contact local police/fire departments before turning to her neighbor for help. Even though she said Iggy climbs around in his cage outside and walks around with a leash, he is always under supervision. She says this is the first time that Iggy has escaped.
The neighbor got the ladder trying to get it down, but Iggy went higher in the tree, so he thought a bucket would do the trick.
Diane worries not only that Iggy will not climb down the tree but also that he is not getting food and water. She hopes that Iggy will return before her children come home from church camp.
