It's still a week away from the biggest shopping day of the year, but many people in Marietta did some early holiday shopping Saturday.
Dozens of vendors set up shop at the Marietta Band Boosters annual craft show.
The event raises funds to help Marietta High School's band with traveling expenses, purchasing music and instrument repairs.
Band boosters said it of course benefits the band, but the public gains something from it too.
"It gives folks an opportunity to see local vendors and the crafts that people make on their own, and then it gives people a chance to shop for the holidays or shop for decorations for the holidays and things like that," Deb Goins, Event Coordinator, said.
The craft show went from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
It was the 16th year for the event.
