One man remains in the hospital after Tuesday's crash on Ohio State Route 7 in Meigs county.

The accident happened before 10 Tuesday morning just south of Tuppers Plains.

Police say a car went left of center in the northbound lane and hit a tanker truck.

The driver of the truck was treated and released from St. Joseph's hospital.

The driver of the car, 26-year-old Robert Northrup of Pomeroy, is under evaluation at Charleston Area Medical Center.

Ohio State highway patrol officials say charges could be filed against Northrup.
