An 11-year-old boy is undergoing hospital care tonight after being struck by a car in Parkersburg.
The accident happened shortly after 3 p.m. Monday at the intersection of 13th and Avery Streets.
Parkersburg police say the 11-year-old, who's name is not being released, attempted to cross 13th Street and did not look both ways before crossing.
That's when he was hit near the 7-11 convenient store.
The boy was taken to Saint Joseph’s Hospital.
