Marietta Man Pleads Guilty to Murder

A Marietta man pleaded guilty to murder Friday morning in court.

22-year-old Noal D. Quattlebaum pleaded guilty to the murder of his girlfriend, Amber Wesley back in July.

Prosecuting Attorney Jim Schneider said Quattlebaum had been charged with two counts; aggravated murder and murder.

Schneider said the aggravated murder count was dropped, and Quattlebaum is now eligible for 15 years to life in prison.

The sentencing for this case has not yet been set.
