Women's Basketball Coach At OVU Steps Down

Ohio Valley University is looking for a new head coach for its women's basketball program.

In a press release, the school's Interim Athletic Director Larry Lyon has announced that Alan Carroll has stepped down from the position with the school.

Lyons says that in recent discussions Carroll had expressed an interest in pursuing other opportunities.

Before taking over as head coach of the women's team, Carroll spent two years as an assistant coach with the men's team. And spent part of the 2006-2007 season as the interim coach of the women's team.
