Using Rocks to Study Animals

When you look at rocks, you may not think of them as part of a major history lesson, but an ichnologist from Germany spent the day at Marietta College studying just that.

Dr. Sebastian Voigt worked along side Professor of Geology Dwayne Stone as they studied animal footprints that are 'older than the dinosaurs.'

Marietta is just one of Dr. Voigt's stops on his mission to learn all about North America's past animal population.
