A local band which has been around for three decades hits the big time.
Poobah describes its musical genre as "psych rock," a mix of everything from the Beatles to Ozzy Osbourne.
It has two performances scheduled this weekend in Cleveland, including one Saturday morning, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
“We either play at a hall; we're the opening or headline act depending on the price of the ticket or the venue where we're playing. But it's anything from bar mitzvahs to Carnegie Hall. If you need us for your graduation party, if you've got a couple of bucks, we'll show up,” says Jim Gustafson, Poobah founding member.
The Rock Hall performance highlights a record collector's show sponsored by Gold Mine magazine.
That publication recently called Poobah, the Most Collectible Band in the World.
