With numerous drug arrests being made in the area, authorities say they've taken many drug dealers off the streets.
Now the concern is what measures drug users plan on taking to get their supply.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says as more arrests are made, drugs like crack cocaine are disappearing.
Now the focus is keeping drug addicts from getting their hands on other drugs.
"We have a large supply right now of prescription medications that is available on the street. I would suspect that maybe a lot of the people who were using crack may go in that direction," Sheriff Mincks said.
Sheriff Mincks also says they're working with physicians and pharmacists to try and keep prescription drugs from going into the wrong hands.
