Monday night, Valley residents were enlightened about new insights for the blood-related cancer, non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.
Many met at the Parkersburg Holiday Inn Monday night to hear the latest on risk factors and diagnosis for the cancer. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma can have a genetic or environmental link. Chemotherapy and remission are ways to minimize the effects of the cancer that is most commonly found in adults.
Unfortunately relapses are always a possibility. Swelling in the lymph nodes in the neck area a precursor to the disease.
