Many of us have items laying around the house that we value, but have you ever wondered how much they're really worth?
People poured into the Blennerhassett Museum Saturday to have their antiques, books, paintings and more appraised.
Jeff Spear, manager of Riverview Antiques in Marietta conducted the appraisal.
Some say it's more about a personal curiosity than actual dollar signs.
"Don't know what they're worth. To us they're worth a lot because they're family, but it's just a good opportunity to get things checked out," Susie Singleton said.
Programs such as the antique appraisal clinic are offered throughout the year, both at the museum and on Blennerhassett Island.
