New York (AP) -- Chemical company DuPont says it will cut another 2,000 jobs as the economy continues to present problems for its largest customers.
Thursday's announcement comes after DuPont had already taken steps to cut 2,500 jobs and eliminate 10,000 contractor jobs.
DuPont spokesman David Hastings said company's operations in West Virginia won't be affected.
DuPont's second largest manufacturing center is the Washington Works plant located near Parkersburg, WV.
