Wood County Commission President Rick Modesitt plans to hear directly from county residents about their concerns for the area's future.

Modesitt is scheduling a series of public meetings, which will begin Thursday in Mineral Wells. That meeting will be held at the Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Department.

A meeting for Parkersburg residents is set for next Monday at the Wood County Public Library. Vienna residents can attend a public session December 9, at the Vienna city council chambers.

A meeting for Williamstown residents is scheduled for Monday December 15, at Williamstown City Hall. All of the meetings begin at 7 p.m.
