One man is in the hospital after an industrial accident at a chemical plant in Belpre.
It happened at the Belpre Kraton Plant at about 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Spokesperson Mike White says an operating technician was changing a piece of equipment when he was sprayed in the arms, chest and face with liquid rubber.
The employee was life-flighted to Ohio State University's Burn Unit in Columbus.
White says the injuries do not appear to be life threatening and that the man was stabilized.
The company is waiting to notify the employee's family before releasing his name.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
