History will be made Monday night as the tonight show host changes for the fourth time in nearly half a century.

Jay Leno, who has hosted the show for 17 years is passing the torch to Conan O'Brien.

Some local folks say it's a good thing, but others believe the show keeps going downhill.

"My favorite of all time is Johnny Carson, but I do like Jay Leno. I think Conan's gonna be a real poor choice," Ted Barnes said.

"I liked Johnny Carson. He just suits my style of humor better than the rest of them," Bob Dahler said.

"If he makes it as funny as the Conan O'Brien show, it's gonna be pretty cool," Michael Stoffel said.
