A suspended St. Mary's wrestling coach and counselor facing sexual abuse charges will have to wait until next year to find out his fate.
Fifty-one-year old Bill Brizendine waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and will now be bound over to the grand jury, which does not meet until January.
He faces charges of sexually abusing a female student volunteer before a wrestling match. Brizendine pleaded not guilty to those charges, and is free on $50,000 bond.
Wednesday night the St. Mary's High School board extended Brizendine's suspension.
