A Belpre man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
Police say 36-year-old Steven Neville, of 1601 Hill Street, called Robert Miller and threatened to shoot him.
Miller and his wife, Roberta, then drove over to Neville's apartment to confront him. Investigators say Neville fired one shot at the couple.
Neville is in the Washington County Jail, pending an appearance in Marietta Municipal Court.
The Millers were not injured. The investigation is continuing.
