Crews have been working day and night to reconstruct the Washington Street Bridge in Marietta, and all the hard work is paying off.
The bridge is set to open Friday at 11:00 a.m. That's six days early.
Although the bridge will be open to traffic, officials say the sidewalk will remain closed in order to upgrade the railing, and improve drainage.
There is also a possibility of one lane staying closed for up to two weeks.
