A new trial date has been set in a Parkersburg murder case.
Forty-eight-year-old John Christian is accused of the September 16 shooting death of Patrick Hupp in Parkersburg.
Christian's trial had been scheduled for January, but has been rescheduled for April 27.
Judge Jeff Reed granted the new trial date after Christian's attorney, George Cosenza, requested more time to prepare his case.
Christian has been held without bond since his arrest just hours after Hupp's death.
