Some Marietta children were getting ready Tuesday for the holiday season.
They were making gingerbread houses which maybe part of a Christmas display at the Lafayette Hotel.
The hotel is seeking entries from several groups for its annual gingerbread house contest, including for the first time this year, professional artists.
This group of youngsters is from Harmar Elementary School, a partner in education with the Lafayette Hotel.
