The sisters of Saint Joseph Charitable Foundation Friday held a luncheon for more than 30 agencies that received grants from the foundation.
The sisters of Saint Joseph have been able to continue providing those grants, even during the weak economy of recent years.
“We did not decrease the granting. We had some very good advice in terms of merging the assets, so we've been very fortunate continue our level of outreach,” said Sister Marguerite O'Brien, Foundation Chairwoman.
The foundation provides grants for non-profit agencies in eight West Virginia and three Ohio counties.
