Pizza Break-In Suspect Sentenced

A Mineral Wells man gets three years probation instead of prison for a break-in last summer at a local restaurant.

Twenty-two-year-old Ralph White was given a one to 10-year sentence, which Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Reed later suspended. White and a co-defendant, Lewis Bartlett, are accused of breaking into a pizza place restaurant on Blizzard Drive last August.

Police said the pair drove a car through the back door of the pizza place on August 10, then entered the office and removed a safe.

White also will have to pay more than $9,400 restitution to the business, and perform 300 hours community service. Bartlett is scheduled to be sentenced in February.
