A $75,000 bond has been set for a local man accused of abusing an eight-month-old child left in his care.
He's barely an adult himself.
Zachary Crouch from Parkersburg turned 18 just last month. He's charged with child abuse with injury for an incident which happened Friday.
Court records say an infant, left in Crouch's care, required treatment by a doctor for what were called "substantial injuries".
If convicted of the charge, Crouch could receive as many as 10 years in prison with a fine of up to $5,000.
