Since Wednesday, St. Mary’s, West Virginia has been playing host to visitors from other communities, with the same name as their city.
They include towns and cities with the same name in locations as diverse as Kansas, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Ohio, and even one community in Canada!
"Right now, our weather is about the same as yours," says Deb Falk of Ontario, Canada. "And (St. Mary’s, West Virginia) is a city along a river, with great weather, and great people, too."
The annual gathering has been held for more than a decade, with a different St. Mary’s community playing host to the other communities' visitors each year.
