A noon-hour crash sent two people to Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital Wednesday.
Shortly before 12:30 Wednesday afternoon, a Dodge Intrepid with Texas license plates collided with a GMS pickup truck on Route 50 west of Belpre.
Investigators say that at the time of the accident the pickup truck was headed eastbound in the westbound lanes.
"The silver car tried to avoid a collision," said Trooper Ira Walker of the Ohio Highway Patrol. "They both made the same evasive action towards the median area, and they hit head-on".
Names and conditions of the accident victims were not available Wednesday afternoon.
