If you're looking for a warm meal on Thanksgiving and some friends to share it with, many local organizations will be serving community dinners, free to the public.
Here's a look at just a few.
The Parkersburg Salvation Army's dinner will be held on Thanksgiving, it begins at Noon and lasts until about 2:00.
The Wayside United Methodist Church in Vienna is set to serve its meal 11:30-1:00.
The Crossroad United Methodist Church will hold its community lunch at the Waverly Fire Department at Noon.
Norwood United Methodist Church on Colegate Drive in Marietta will serve dinner at Noon.
The American Legion Post 159, 100 Central Avenue in Williamstown, will have Thanksgiving Dinner from 12 to 4. It is open to the public. Deliveries are available for the Williamstown area. Please call 304-375-5997.
