Honoring those who have previously fought for our country is just part of Veterans' Day; it's also about supporting those who are currently serving.

Lisa Allen is one of many with a family member in Iraq. Her husband, Captain Mike Allen serves as a chaplain in the Army National Guard.

He's been overseas since April, and although Lisa can't wait for him to come home, she says she couldn't be prouder.

"I'm extremely proud of him. He does an outstanding job. Of course I'm partial, but I think he's an excellent chaplain," Lisa said.

Mike and Lisa's son, Joshua, is also in the army, and her father is a veteran. She says she and her two daughters can't thank them enough.
