UPDATE: Doctor Accused of Probation Violation on Drug Offense

In Wood County court, Judge Reed puts Dr. Scott Feathers in jail.

Feathers broke his three years of probation for prescribing hydrocodone to a confidential informant.

Feathers broke that probation to go bow hunting.

Feathers admits to his violation.

His sentencing is set for June.

Doctor Scott Feathers was arrested in December of 2009 and indicted a year later.

On April 9th of this year Feathers pleaded guilty to one count of delivery of a controlled substance.

Judge Reed sentenced him to 3 years probation Wednesday.

A Parkersburg doctor faces a felony charge for selling the Schedule III narcotic hydrocodone to a confidential informant.

According to a court document, Dr. Feathers allegedly sold a quantity of 10 milligram hydrocodone pills in October at his office at 218 Gihon Village in Parkersburg.
