The Washington County grand jury issued indictments against 25 people Friday, including a West Virginia man accused of using deception to obtain a dangerous drug.
Daniel Gross is accused of posing as a sick person to obtain a shot of morphine at Marietta Memorial Hospital. The incident happened May 3.
Prosecutors say Grose has used similar tactics to obtain morphine at Camden-Clark and Saint Joseph's Hospitals, as well as hospitals in Charleston.
The grand jury also indicted Richard Robinson of Belleville.
Robinson is accused of escaping from an Ohio Highway Patrol cruiser, where he was being held April 30, after being stopped for driving under the influence. He was later captured in West Virginia.
