Winter weather can often make it difficult for folks on the go, so to make it as easy and safe as possible, crews worked all day Tuesday to keep roads clear.
Trucks hit the streets early Tuesday morning; plowing away the snow and covering roads with a mix of salt and sand to make them less slick.
As the snow continued to fall much of the day, crews worked to remove it as fast as it came down.
"Our goal is to have the walks, the sidewalks, the streets and parking lots safe for the citizens of Marietta when they get ready to go to work," Joe Finkel with the Public Facilities Department said.
