A one-vehicle accident leaves two adults and an unborn child dead. It happened on Route 50 in Ritchie County.

"There was a red Chevy S-10 traveling west on Route 50, according to witnesses it crossed the median, flipped several times and threw the driver and passenger out,” says Chief Deputy Kelly of the Ritchie County Sheriff’s Department.

Twenty-two-year-old Michael C. Jenkins and 18-year-old Amanda Dawn Southall, both of Clarksburg, died.

Southall was pregnant, neither were wearing seat belts.

The wreck happened around 4 p.m. Saturday evening.

The Ritchie County Sheriff's Department says no other cars were involved.

They believe speed was a factor.
