The names of the couple who are believed to have died in Monday morning's house fire in the Newport Township area of Washington County have been released.
Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks says 69-year-old Robert R. Barth and 66-year-old Evalena Barth lived at 685 County Nine Road, the scene of the fire.
The Montgomery County Coroner's Office will make the final, official indentification.
Sheriff Mincks tells WTAP that, at this time, the cause of the fire is not determined, but there are no signs it was deliberately set.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office now confirms people were killed in a house fire on County Road 9 in Washington County Monday morning.
The fire broke out at about 7:05 Monday morning. Four fire stations responded. The Ohio State Fire Marshal is investigating. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this point but officials say it does not look suspicious.

A third person, originally thought to have been killed, is now classified as "missing."
