Ohio State Highway Patrol officers say Michael Duncan of Fleming has died after the motorcycle he was driving struck a car on State Route 339 in Belpre.
Officers said around 5 p.m. Sunday the 56-year-old was driving northbound on State Route 339 when he hit the car 89-year-old Pauline Kalbaugh was driving as she pulled out of her driveway north of Porterfield.
Sgt. Todd McDonald said "Apparently the car pulled out of the driveway, motorcyclist was northbound on State Route 339 and struck the car and the driver of the motorcycle was ejected from the motorcycle."
Kalbaugh was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released Sunday evening.
Sgt. McDonald said the driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet.
Trooper Coy Lehman said charges are pending the investigation.
State Route 339 between the Spence Road intersections was closed for nearly three hours and has been reopened.

Traffic lanes north of Porterfield on State Route 339 between the Spence Roads intersections are open again after a motorcycle and vehicle accident.

The driver of the motorcycle, involved in an accident along State Route 339, in Washington County, was pronounced dead at the scene, after a collision with a car.
According to authorities the driver of the car involved was coming out of a driveway in the 2300 block of State Route 339, when the motorcycle struck the car.
The driver of the car has been transported to Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. Neither the motorcyclists, nor car drivers identifications are being released at this time.
State Route 339 remains closed.
According to dispatchers a motorcycle and car accident has closed down State Route 339, in Ohio, between the two Spence Road and ST. RT. 339 intersections, Washington County.
First responders, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Little Hocking Volunteer Fire Department, are on the scene.
