After a big weekend in the Big Apple the Parkersburg High School choral groups 'A Cappella' is home.
The group ventured to New York City for an engagement at Carnegie Hall, where they were the guests of honor. P.H.S. kids worked hard to prepare for the concert, but had some time to enjoy the city as well.
"They were intense rehearsals preparing for that Satuday evening concert. But then we got to see the sights as well," says Pamela McClain, Director of 'A Cappella.' "And we did get to see the broadway show 'Wicked.' And of course a very memorable time was to once again go tto ground zero."
'A Cappella' preformed at ground zero in memory of a past choir member who died in the terririst attacks of September 11th.
