While West Virginia voters are still a week away today from their primary elections, the Wood County Republican Executive Committee met Tuesday evening with an eye on the general election in November.
At a special meeting, the committee chose Robin A. Waters as its candidate to run for the unexpired term of the retiring magistrate Emily Bradley.
The committee's chair Beverly Lockhart says Waters was unanimously chosen from four candidates.
The republican candidate will run against a democrat, who has not been named yet in the general election in November.
