Another business has been added to the list of places that can now sell alcohol in Belpre.
Voters in precinct 1-A passed a levy to sell alcohol at Kroger in Belpre, as well as another levy allowing Kroger to sell alcohol on Sundays.
Belpre was considered a dry city until the last general election when several alcohol levies passed in the city.
Store manager, Phil Sigler, says the change will be good for customers and the store.
"It will be good for our business. It will give customers the opportunity to get their beer and wine here when they're shopping for their groceries rather than having to make another stop somewhere else," Sigler said.
Kroger is expected to start selling those beverages mid June.
