Some students in the Warren Local School district are starting their weekend back in their own beds after spending most of the school week in cabins.
The eighth grade class from Barlow-Vincent Elementary took their studies outside the classroom to Camp Hervida.
Starting Tuesday, they attended nature classes, played games and even sang some camp songs.
Students say it was a fun and educational experience.
"I learned a lot of things that would help me if I ever got lost out in the woods, and even some medical things with my first aid classes that could help me with my medical degree that I wanna get when I grow up," Madison Dailey, a student, said.
Teachers say teamwork was the main lesson taught throughout the week.
